Beacon CRM specialist for charities and arts organisations

I work with charities and arts & cultural organisations to implement Beacon CRM, wave goodbye to their legacy systems, and leave them confident managing Beacon themselves.

What I do.

Beacon CRM Implementation

As a certified Solutions Partner, I can help your organisation implement Beacon and tailor it to your specific needs.

Get in contact if you’re planning a move to Beacon.

Building new functionality

Want to extend how you use Beacon? Whether that's adding services, setting up Workflows, building new forms, or support with integrating another tool, I can scope, build, and train your team on whatever comes next.

Moving to Beacon

I manage the whole process — from understanding your data and processes to configuring Beacon and training your team. Whether you're migrating from Raiser's Edge, Donorflex, CiviCRM, or a spreadsheet, you'll end up with a CRM your team actually wants to use.

Ongoing Support

After implementation, I'm available on a retained basis. Whether that's answering questions as they come up, helping with busy periods, introducing new team members, or building something new when the time is right.

Reviewing what you have

Already on Beacon, but something doesn't feel right? I can audit your current setup, identify what's working and what isn't, and give you a clear plan for improving it — without starting from scratch.

I work with charities and arts & cultural organisations to implement Beacon CRM and improve how they use their data.

With over 13 years of experience in the charity and arts sectors, I became a certified Beacon Implementation Partner after seeing first-hand how much the right CRM can transform the way an organisation works — and how often that potential goes unrealised.

I began my career at the Federation of British Artists and Mall Galleries, where I led a period of digital transformation that opened up new revenue streams and simplified how the organisation operated day to day. Since then I've worked independently with some of the UK's most respected arts organisations, including Studio Voltaire, Turner Contemporary, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, Whitechapel Gallery, and Graeae Theatre Company.

That background in the arts shaped how I approach every project. I understand the mix of fundraising, membership, ticketing, and education relationships that make arts organisations different — and I know how to configure Beacon to handle all of it.

Today I work with charities and cultural organisations across the UK, helping them move to Beacon, migrate their data from legacy systems, and build the skills to run it confidently themselves.

What people say.

“Liam oversaw the move of Punchdrunk Enrichment's CRM data from Raiser's Edge into Beacon, which including managing more than 20,000 records, financial and schools data. Liam's approach was methodical and highly organised which resulted in our total confidence in the project every step of the way. Liam also took the time to understand all our internal processes to ensure our Beacon CRM set-up would be perfect for us. I would definitely hire Liam again.”

“Liam's support was excellent and made the whole process of moving across to Beacon a less daunting experience. We were moving across from an old services database which had become unfit for purpose. He was patient with the project team as we worked through exactly what we needed and our reporting needs. We now have a fantastic database with all of the functionality we need and the team feel much more empowered given its simplicity and Liam's guidance.”

“Liam has been very flexible and client focussed to help us transition from our old CRM to Beacon. He's taken time to learn The Poppy Factory way of doing things and has tailored Beacon to meet our needs, or has found solutions where change has been needed. Thank you!”
